Supervisory certification recognizes a progression in knowledge and skills gained from the information meticulously gathered in the Supervisor Training Manual and Study Guide.  The supervisor certification course consists of 18 units of instruction in such topics as supervisor responsibilities, civil liability and the supervisor, planning for emergency management and response, budgeting and cost control, and much more.  Having this course in a classroom setting rather than individual self-study enables hospital security officers to interact and share their knowledge and experiences with each other.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be required to take a proctored 50 question exam.  Upon successful completion of the exam, students will receive a numbered certificate with their name and expiry date.  Certification is valid for three (3) years.
